Children's Ministry
Our children's ministry provides a safe, loving, godly atmosphere for every child. They will feel loved and valued by every worker. Children were very important to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 19:13-14 that children are not to be held back from Him.
"Then were there brought unto Him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of Heaven" (Matt. 19:13-14). Jesus loves little children and so do we here at Harvest Baptist Church.
There is a Sunday School class for all ages at Harvest Baptist Church. Here, children are taught Bible stories as well as the basics of Bible knowledge and spiritual growth. Sunday School begins at 10:00 on Sunday mornings.
On Wednesdays a Bible lesson is taught followed by activities, games, and a snack. Come join us Wednesday Nights at 7:00 p.m.
Van transportation is provided to and from Harvest Baptist Church for all age groups. The bus provides a safe mode of transportation to and from church. If interested in more information about the van ministry, check out our Van Ministry Page.
Youth Ministries
Our Youth Ministry is centered on the Sunday school hour, and monthly activities to allow our youth an opportunity to have fun, and fellowship away from the pressures of the world. This ministry is designed to equip the young adults of today to be the leaders of tomorrow; Teaching a Biblical foundation, and a Christian world view to help prepare them to meet the challenges of tomorrow with faith and victory. We know that the youth of today's churches are the church of tomorrow. As the church of tomorrow, our Youth ministry strives to instill in our group habits that will last a life time. Therefore, our youth group lives by the verse in I Timothy 4:12, "Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity."
Our Youth Ministry is made up of those in the 7th – 12th grade. We would love to see you come and be with us in Sunday School or at one of our events. We can’t wait to see you!
Van Ministry
The Van Ministry strives to live by the verse found in Luke chapter 14:23, "And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." This ministry provides transportation to and from church for children, teens, and adults that may not be able to make it on their own. The van provides a safe mode of transportation to and from church. If you would like a ride to church please give us a call at (423) 543-3303 to see if you live in an area that we pick up from.
